
Intermat Paris 2018 International Construction and Building Technologies Exhibition was held in Paris, the French capital, on 23-28 April. Important names from the construction and infrastructure sectors got together at the exhibition, where 1,500 exhibitors and 183,000 commercial visitors from 167 countries were informed about access to innovation, training classes, social networking opportunities, market analysis and the potential for large-scale construction projects.
Main product groups at the exhibition included construction supplies and technologies, construction machinery, channel construction materials, excavation equipment, lifts, transport and logistics technologies, concrete production machines, environmental protection and safety equipment, and landscape supplies.
Held every 3 years, this International Construction and Building Technologies Exhibition has verified its status as the reference trade fair. Among the participants of the exhibition was Olimpia, a leading company in the auto glass industry that emphasizes its power in the sector both as a manufacturer and a service provider. Olimpia attended this exhibition in 2015 for the first time. The exhibition is covered by the International Fair Participation Support provided by the Ministry of Economy.
Olimpia displayed featured products at the exhibition
Olimpia attended the exhibition with a team of 4 in a 40 m2 area and attracted the attention with featured products. The Olimpia team exhibited the complex, curved windshields and side windows that have technological features and concealed resistor which are produced for OEMs. Nimet Zenginer Kirişci, Vice Chair of the Board of Directors, and Hüseyin Becerik, Foreign Sales and Marketing Manager, were also among the team members. Hüseyin Becerik, Foreign Sales and Marketing Manager at Olimpia Auto Glass, gave information about the exhibition and stated that attending domestic and international events as Olimpia provides significant advantages. Highlighting the importance of exhibitions for brand awareness, Becerik said: “At the exhibition, we got the chance to meet the important players of the entire construction machinery market. New contacts and new agreements made significant contributions to the increase in the existing business volume. It was also a great chance to follow up with the technological advances in the sector and see the actions of the competition.” Hüseyin Becerik also stated that they will be attending Automechanika Frankfurt, which will be held in Frankfurt, Germany on 11-15 September and which is one of the most important automotive spare part exhibitions in the world.
